Return to Milltown

Most of my paintings have some kind of meaning, and/or references or nods to something or someone. Milltown refers to my hometown, which is a mostly abandoned paper mill town with a very high rate of alcoholism. All there was to do growing up was to go watch bands play, and get drunk. The rat's shirt is a reference to the cut off year at many car shows. Also, many of my paintings, like this one, also have a nod to Kenny Howard. This is painted on an 11x14 canvas with water based acrylics.
